Excel Essentials - Part A Online
Join the popular Excel Essentials workshop, starting Friday 7th November 10am to 12pm.
Whether you're crunching numbers or analysing data, Microsoft Excel is an indispensable tool in the academic skills toolkit. This 2hr introductory online workshop is delivered through Microsoft Teams, and designed specifically for BU undergraduate & postgraduate students who want to build confidence in using Excel, and compliments academic units with Excel components.
No prior experience is needed, this is a taster for beginners, just bring a curiosity for numbers and a willingness to explore how Excel can support your studies at BU and beyond.
After the session, you'll have access to class notes and Excel workbooks to support your learning. Plus, you're always welcome to book a one-on-one online consultation in the Academic Skills Hub if you need help applying Excel to your own data, or use the Academic Skills Hub drop-in service (no appointment necessary).
Look out for Excel Masterclass events throughout the academic year along with mathematics and statistics programmes (Including SPSS and JASP), alerts placed in your Brightspace Pulse app.
Participants will receive additional details and the Microsoft Teams link prior to the programme's commencement on Friday 7th November at 10am.
