Trigonometry: Core Skills & Techniques

Delivered live via Microsoft Teams, this focused workshop is perfect for any BU student preparing for algebra-based mock exams, coursework or research projects. Whether you need a rapid refresher or want to deepen your understanding, our interactive two-hour session will boost your confidence and fluency in trigonometry.

This workshop will aim to cover the following areas of Trigonometry:
1 SOH CAH TOA, Sine Rule, Cosine Rule, Area of a Triangle using Sine
2 Trig Graphs, Solving Trig Equations
3 Using Trig Identities
4 Graphs of Reciprocal Trig Functions
5 Double Angle Formulas
6 R sin(θ + α) and R cos(θ − α) Forms
7 Trig Expression Simplification
8 Solving Advanced Trig Identities
9 Harmonic Form and Amplitude–Phase Form
