MATLAB for Mathematics, Engineering & Scientific Computing

Delivered live via Microsoft Teams, this six-week workshop series is designed to introduce students to MATLAB and develop practical computing skills used across Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Data Science and Scientific Research.

MATLAB is one of the most widely used software packages in universities and industry for mathematical analysis, programming, numerical methods, simulations, modelling, data analysis and visualisation. These workshops will provide hands-on experience solving mathematical and engineering problems using MATLAB.

Whether you are completely new to MATLAB, have used it previously and need a refresher, or are looking to strengthen your programming and computational skills for assignments, projects, dissertations or research, these workshops will help you develop confidence using MATLAB in a practical and supportive environment.
